Luggage on a coach

The luggage allowance is the carrier's, not ours. Each has its own: two suitcases of 20 kg with one, a single item in the hold plus hand luggage with another.

Where to read the allowance for your service

Before you buy - in the trip card, under "Luggage". After you buy - on the ticket.

If you have more than the allowance

An extra item is carried when there is room in the hold, and for a separate charge. The driver decides at boarding: only they can see how many passengers are travelling now and how many will join further along the road.

So do not plan around an extra suitcase - it may not be taken.

Animals, bicycles, skis

These are the carrier's rules too, and they differ. Open "Carrier's rules" in the trip card. If it says nothing about your case, write to us before the journey rather than at boarding: with an animal or an outsized item the question can sometimes be settled in advance, and never on the platform.

A few practical things

  • Be at the boarding point 30 minutes before departure. The coach runs to a timetable and, as a rule, does not wait.
  • Label your luggage, or put a note with your name and telephone number inside it.
  • Keep documents, medicines, money and electronics with you rather than in the hold: at a transfer you have no access to it.
